Considering Divorce? Here's how we will work with you.
Step #1: Complementary 30 Minute One-On-One Initial Strategy Session.
Contact my office by phone or through the "Contact Us" tab above to schedule your desired time to speak with me confidentially - either in person or by phone. You learn about the divorce process options available, and how we dedicate ourselves to help you. I want to clearly understand your primary concerns, current and future desires, and most pressing financial issues.
Step #2: Engagement and Information Gathering.
Complete and submit all necessary forms for us to work together - along with all requested documentation - via online secure shared storage.
Step #3: Comprehensive Analysis.
An in-depth, detailed analysis is completed of your supporting documents. We let you know if additional information is needed.
If your Financial Affidavit needs to be created, we will assist you. If Financial Affidavits are already completed, we review both of them.
We provide you with easy to understand reports for: Child Support, Alimony (Spousal Support), Marital Property Division (with and without tax considerations), and an overview of your current year financial status based on varying financial decisions; along with future income and net worth consequences and projections. A lot of time is devoted to this critical and vital area.
Step #4: Findings, Options and Report Delivery.
We present our findings, discuss alternative settlement options and terms, and make adjustments as you request and where needed.
Step #5: Ongoing Support.
Provide you with continued encouragement, financial expertise, review all settlement offers and proposed agreements…until your divorce is finalized.
Need help with the transition after your final agreement is signed?
We assist with all those steps too!
We can work side by side:
with an individual client (as their financial advocate) - either with or without an attorney,
with a couple (in the role of a financial "mediator") - with or without attorneys,
or through the full Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Process of Collaborative Divorce (in the role of a Neutral Financial Professional).
